Foundations have been laid, and spirits rising as the brand new teacher’s accommodation starts to take shape at Iltolish Primary School in Kenya!

Head Teacher, Mr Onsongo says, ‘We want to provide a conducive environment for our teachers to deliver quality education – as they already have been! But it is hard for them in the current housing conditions with so little room. At the moment, our teachers will go 3 or 4 months without seeing their family because they cannot come and stay with them. To go that long, psychologically you will not be okay. We have lost some good teachers to other schools because of the housing conditions. These are the people who are taking care of our children. They need to have good houses to live well, to stay well’.
