Pictures from the project handover ceremony for Inkosi Zwelakhe Ngwane Secondary School at Mnqobokazi community, KwaZulu-Natal (KZN).

This was a special occasion attended by the core project donors, the Massenet Family. Also in attendance was the KZN Department of Education MEC, Head of Department and District Director as well as the Mnqobokazi community Chief Ngwane, Student Governing Body, parents and other stakeholders. The school is a community-driven initiative, facilitated by the Africa Foundation, which was established in 2019. The school now has Grade 8 – 10 classes with 385 learners enrolled and 13 educators, and will be a fully-fledged high school in the next 2 years!
