Today on #WorldWaterDay we think about the many communities across our region who do not have access to safe drinking water.

Water is used for a variety of daily activities such as washing, cleaning, drinking, cooking farming and healthcare. Yet 2.2 billion people still live without access to safe water. This is why Africa Foundation supports projects that help communities gain access to water through drilling boreholes, providing water reticulation systems and supplying Hippo Water Rollers so individuals can carry water across long distances.
